Me encantó ese libro pero no me calentó, me puso muy muy triste...
La película, por otro lado, es más calenturienta pero me pareció un poco bodrio...
Sí, algunas partes calientan, claro. Pero básicamente es más lo que me puso mal. Triste, triste.

Ahh, the joys and pitfalls of marriage, younger lovers, deceit and betrayal... I've been there and done that. Twice in twenty-two years of marriage. Never a secret--women always know, as opposed to men, who are usually blind until one day she walks out of your life holding someone else's hand. My only regret is the biggest one: you end up hurting people you love, including your occasional lovers. Still married though. I've been a poor student but lessons are there to be learned or you deserve every bit of what befalls you, as I do. Life isn't over though and is always full of surprises.
Kureishi is a good observer and a better narrator.

Ahora que releo me interesaría saber porqué Kureishi usa "sucking" y no "licking". O ambos. :-P
